Pikes lead the pack in Relay For Life contributions
Late this spring, Pi Kappa Alpha took part in Pullman's annual Relay For Life event which raises money for cancer research and awareness.  Pikes walked around the Pullman High School track for nearly an entire day, and even camped out to show support.  Pikes also donated nearly $7,500!

Earlier this spring, Pi Kappa Alpha sponsored a philanthropic benefit party for a Bremerton girl who was recently diagnosed with cancer.  Everyone who attended the event paid an entrance fee, which went towards a fund for the family's medical bills.  Pikes helped contribute $300 dollars to the event.

Pikes sets donation record at Relay for Life!
American Cancer Society
Pikes finished off their annual Relay for Life fundraising by donating a record $10,655!  It was just over 20% of the entire city of Pullman and was more than 5 times greater than any other student organization.  We also generated over 700 hours of community service in the week leading up to the Relay!  You can read our front page article from the Daily Evergreen online by following this link.
